Wann solltet ihr Starten:
Da im Wald morgens die Tierwelt noch am aktivsten ist würde ich euch empfehlen früh morgens zu starten damit ihr mit ein wenig Glück z.B Rehe beobachten könnt. Der Parkplatz ist früh morgens auch meistens leer, weswegen ihr keinen Stress habt und einen anderen suchen müsst.
Schuhwerk:
Im Sommer könnt ihr ohne Probleme mit normalem Schuhwerk loslaufen wohingegen ich euch im Winter oder bei Nässe schon festes und wasserdichtes Schuhwerk empfehlen würde. Es kann zwischendurch matschig werden.
Schwierigkeitsgrad:
Die Strecke stellt euch vor keine großen Herausforderungen. Nehmt euch Zeit,genießt die tolle Natur und ihr werdet eine wundervolle, entspannte Wanderroute vor euch haben!
Highlights der Wanderroute:
1. Uhlenhorstwald:
Auch bekannt als Broich-Speldorfer Wald. Ein sehr abwechslungsreicher und grüner Wald zwischen Mülheim an der Ruhr und Duisburg. Hier kann man wirklich toll abschalten und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Viele kleine Single Trails und Wanderwege.
2. Rottbachtal:
Tolles Naturschutzgebiet zwischen Mülheim und Duisburg. Hier könnt ihr einfach nur die tolle Natur genießen.
3. Wambachtal und Oembergmoor:
Ebenfalls ein großes Naturschutzgebiet zwischen Mülheim und Duisburg. Vielfältige Tierwelt (Feuersalamander, Rehe, Schafe, Pferde, Frösche u.v.m will von euch entdeckt werden). Mehrere kleine Flüsschen die sich durch das Gebiet schlängeln (u.a. der Wambach). Sehr abwechslungsreiches Waldgebiet mit vielen tollen Pflanzen.
4. Sonstiges:
Genießt einfach die tolle Natur und die schönen Wege. Der Wald an sich ist ein tolles Highlight vorallem sobald man die Hauptwege verlässt. Grüne Farne, überwucherte Baumstämme und eine tolle Tierwelt werden euch dabei helfen den stressigen Alltag hinter euch zu lassen.
Unsere Meinung zu dieser Route:
Unser kleines persönliches Highlight in unserer Heimatstadt! Hier könnt ihr im Frühling/Sommer wirklich einzigartige Waldabschnitte erleben. Wir haben uns zwischendurch gefühlt wie in einem tropischen Regenwald. Alles ist so schön Grün und ihr lauft viele Wege wo ihr ganz alleine seid.
Wir haben auf der Tour insgesamt 3 Rehe gesehen wie ihr in den Bildern sehen könnt. Eines davon ist uns sogar näher gekommen und war sehr interessiert. Hoffentlich habt ihr auch dieses Glück!
