Parkplatz in Herzkamp , Egen 11 in 45549 Sprockhövel

Wann solltet ihr Starten:

Bei schönem Wetter so früh wie möglich! Der Parkplatz füllt sich grade am Wochenende relativ schnell. Eventuell müsst ihr auf Nebenstraßen ausweichen. Früh morgens vermeidet ihr natürlich auch etwas vollere Wege. Grade auf dem zweiten Teil der Strecke kann es schon etwas „voller“ werden.

Schuhwerk:

Wanderschuhe sind auf dieser Wanderroute zu empfehlen da vorallem die erste Hälfte der Wanderung viele Offroad Wege hat und es einen Wurzelpfad gibt.

Schwierigkeitsgrad:

Trittsicherheit sollte ebenso wie eine gute Grundkondition vorhanden sein. Die Wanderung stellt keine großen Herausforderungen an euch, jedoch gibt es einige wenige Abschnitte wo ihr Trittsicher sein solltet. Die Streckenlänge und die Höhenmeter lassen sich unabhängig davon von fast jedem gut meistern. Es sind genug Bänke zum Pause einlegen vorhanden.

 

Highlights der Wanderroute:

1. Herzkamp (Sprockhövel):

Herzkamp, der Start unserer Wanderroute, ist ein Stadtteil von Sprockhövel. Nah an der Stadtgrenze zu Wuppertal liegend bietet dieses kleine, idyllische Dörfchen einen tollen Ausgang unserer Route. Hier findet sich eine neugotische Kirche sowie viele kleine Fachwerkhäuser und nette Restaurants.

2. Hackenberg:

Der erste Berg den wir von Herzkamp aus erklimmen. Viele schöne Wanderwege führen hoch zur Spitze. Schöne Waldwege führen über den Berg hinüber bis es wieder hinunter ins Deilbachtal geht. Es erwartet euch unter anderem eine tolle Aussicht auf Herzkamp.

3. Deilbachtal (Sprockhövel):

Nachdem wir den Hackenberg verlassen haben befinden wir uns im Deilbachtal. Der Deilbach fließt hier vorbei an grünen Feldern und wunderschönen Wanderwegen. Highlight ist ein kleiner Wurzelpfad der direkt am Bach verläuft. Hier ist ein wenig Trittsicherheit gefragt.

4. Oberes Felderbachtal:

Nachdem wir über den Mettberg gewandert sind und den kleinen Ortsteil Ochsenkamp verlassen haben kommen wir in das obere Felderbachtal. Hier schlängelt sich der kleine Felderbach durch die Wälder. Schöne Waldwege, grüne Wiesen und ein gepflegter Golfplatz prägen das Tal. Hier überqueren wir auch den kleinen Bach über eine abenteuerliche Mini-Brücke.

5. Sonstiges:

Die Wanderroute führt euch im zweiten Wanderabschnitt durch den Ortsteil Ochsenkamp. Hier hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf die umliegenden Ortschaften. Ochsenkamp ist geprägt von wunderschönen Häusern mit gepflegten Gärten und ein paar kleinen Highlights die es zu entdecken gilt.

 

 

 

Unsere Meinung zu dieser Route:

Eine Abwechslungsreiche Wanderroute durch das Bergische Land bei Sprockhövel. Nicht sehr anspruchvoll aber mit ein paar abenteuerlichen Abschnitten die ein wenig Aufmerksamkeit erforden. Viele schöne Aussichten und Weitblicke belohnen euch für die zwei Aufstiege die ihr während der Route absolviert. Eine tolle Strecke die vorallem im Frühling und Sommer sehr grün ist.
